The information we collect

When you complete an enquiry form on this website we collect the details you choose to give us. That is your name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, your postcode if you provide it, and the message you send us. Your name, phone number and message are required in order to submit the form. Email, postcode and service are helpful but optional.

The website also records the page the enquiry was sent from, the date and time it was submitted, and the IP address of the device that sent it. The IP address is kept only to identify and prevent spam and abuse of the form.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

We use the information you give us to respond to your enquiry and provide a quote, to arrange and carry out any work you ask us to do, to keep a record of enquiries so we can follow them up and manage our business, and to protect the website against spam and misuse.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, and, where you are asking us to quote or carry out work, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where we rely on your consent, for example for non essential cookies, you are free to withdraw that consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for anyone else to market to you. To run the website and follow up enquiries we use a small number of trusted providers who process information on our behalf: our website host and our email provider, so that enquiries can be stored and sent to us, and our customer management system, so that we can manage your enquiry and contact you about it. These providers process your information only to provide their service to us and are required to keep it secure. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry, and afterwards for our legitimate business records, normally for up to six years so that we can deal with any question about work we have carried out. We do not keep your information for longer than we need it.
